Time to give Castellanos a look

Castellanos' biggest drawback is his fielding, so putting him at 3rd and moving Miggy to 1st and getting Prince off the INF D, would not improve us any. Not this year anyhow.

I think they want him at 3rd so bringing him up he goes to left or DH and he won't be learning 3B if he's brought up. And as someone mentioned it, he hasn't got his power stroke yet.

He is gonna be trade bait at the deadline, wait and see. He would look good in a Brewer uniform. Grienke would look nice in the Olde English D.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

Why would it not? They need a 3B for the future, Grienke is a FA and they have no money.

Because the Tigers aren't gonna trade for Castellanos for somebody they won't have long term.

He is a FA, the opportunity is there to sign him long term. However, I am sure farm rich organizations will be bidding for his value.

That's the exact opposite thing you look for when you're trading your top prospect. You look to acquire someone who is fairly cheap, under team control for a few years, and is at the beginning on their prime.

As a pending FA, Grienke doesn't have enough trade value to fetch a prospect like Castellanos.

A team that is struggling with the bats I don't see getting a SP for basically our only hitting prospect a good idea.
