It's not as crazy as it sounds. There aren't many (if any) 27 year old RBs with a 4.7 career ypc with low mileage (276 carries). He's entering his physical prime and is a power back similar to MJD.

Since '96 they have 5 playoff wins. How many do we have, let's see if you carry the one, subtract the % of point differencial and add in the multiplier effect - we get zero.

I tend to agree with you, sggatecl. Toby hasn't had that much wear and tear on him and he is a better than expected receiving threat. Don't know how well his pass protection is, but should have learned a lot while playing for the injured AP. Plus he had to have learned something behind AP all those years. Should replace MJD well.
