Toby Harrah coming to work with Tigers hitters

2 hitting instructors? Why keep Lloyd around? Oh, i know, he's Leylands best friend..lol.

This organization can be a joke at times...wtf.

At this point, I'd be happy with individual hitting instructors for every player. Our offense sans Miggy, Prince, AJax and maybe Berry is putrid.

My only hope is that this now the official position with someone watching the bats on TV and spotting the flaws much more quickly and getting adjustments made much sooner. If he can accomplish that then it's all good.

As for BB, I can already tell you what's still wrong there, same thing i've been saying for weeks, he's not swinging with authority he's guiding the bat through the plate and hitting most everything softly because of it, seems like it that should be fixable unless of course that thumb is really still an issue from last year or perhaps it's a side effect of playing to tensed up, not sure but he seems to be a mess right now for sure. He could be letting the top hand come off the bat a little too soon also, not sure but at times I wonder if maybe he should try keeping both hands on the bat longer through the swing.

Yes ok it's true I'm not really a hitting coach but I do enjoy playing one on the internet.
