Not sure which was more entertaining for me....

Mentally arguing the order of these picks?

Or the comments below from Packer fans screaming that Aaron Rodgers was not included at all in a list of QB's taken with the #1 pick. I couldn't stop laughing.

In all reality, I am not sure about putting Bradshaw above Manning. Yes, I get it, Terry won 4 Super Bowls. But if the number of titles is the big qualifier, how are guys like Aikman and Elway lower on the list than Peyton?

If you're going to base this on how great of a QB they were, Bradshaw doesn't deserve top billing on this list. If it's all about titles, Peyton doesn't deserve top billing on this list. If it's a combination thereof... Peyton still deserves top billing.

When stafford is top 10 in a greatest ever list and tim couch and janarcus russell are on the list ....you probably shouldnt have the list. Or just stop after 5 or something...

That list is horrible. Stafford, JaMarcus Russell, Couch, Carr, Vick etc? Lmao. Was there only 20 QB's taken at 1?

Yep, so when either Mariota or Winston are taken #1 this year, Jamarcus Russell can fall off of this top 20 list.

I remember thinking that before the draft that Russell is gonna be the biggest bust ever. Like everything screamed awful

The comments...

The article is improperly titled. It should be "Ranking of the 20 QB's taken #1 overall". The title leads people to believe that there are more than 20 and here are the top ones.

That's what I thought..

I know it's a bit off the original topic......but to me.....Bradshaw and Aikman are the two most overrated QB's in history.

Both went to teams that probably would have won with a monkey at QB. Neither put up overall statistics that were considered great in their era (Aikman had a good Comp %...Bradshaw a couple of good TD years)......just won a ton of games with historically good teams.

Different game when Bradshaw played. QB's just threw it all over the place. I do though remember Bradshaw saying once or twice where he was never as good in the pro's as he was in college.

In any event.. You really had to just watch. I don't remember anyone saying, like they do now with certain players, that Bradshaw wasn't a top QB only won because of everyone else. Look at Swann's stats, he was a great WR just different back then..

Aikman was a joke of a QB if you ask me. He never had good stats, was surrounded by HOF players at every position, defenses were full of studs. But he did one thing good and one thing only. He played exceptionally well in the playoffs. That, I can give him.

Bradshaw tops the list because of his contributions to Fox NFL Sunday and Nutrisystems, although if Peyton keeps making really funny commercials as a product pitchman, he has a chance to catch him.

I agree with the consensus; there are some pretty gnarly selections at the bottom of the list to ever be included on a list of the top anything.

Kind of like making a list of the all time greatest herpetic, syphilitic prostitutes.
