Not even top 30 in the twins system. Fulmer wasn't worth much on his own. Needed to package him with Soto or Chafin to get anything decent.

I am OK with not trading Soto given him being under team control for 3 more years.
This team won't be good in any of those 3 years. Holding guys like Boyd and Fulmer when they had peak value when the teams were trash is why we're still in this mess of a rebuild. Obviously we don't have the GM that has the balls to make tough calls.

Peak value for an all star reliever is a 24 year old pitcher who just got sent back to single A because he got shelled in double A and isn?t even a top 30 prospect for the Twins? Avila got literally nothing back for Grossman and Fulmer. No player that will see the majors ever.

I don't see that myself. Maybe 1 top and a couple middles. Either way it's a big risks.
