Remember when Detroit Tigers dumb fuck GM Al Avila said he couldn't find any takers for Nick Castellanos because "he's not drawing any interest"? Well, Nick will probably opt out of his contract and it's believed he'll have multiple suitors offering $100+ mill multi-year deals.

The Tigers ended up trading Nick to the Cubs for 2 prospects and also paying the Cubs part of his salary.

Id be all for them finding a team that'll give up an elite hitting prospect for their entire bullpen. I'd take 1 top 20 prospect over 4 or 5 mid range lottery tickets. We need middle of the order bats. So if giving a 3 player combo of Fulmer, Chapin, Lange, Jimenez, Soto gets that done, jump
