Trump rallies... yikes.

So now Trump is talking about riots if he comes close with a significant plurality but ends up being denied the nomination.

Sanders is a dope in that he is the most honest candidate in the field (Kasich is a close 2nd) who is tired of the power in politics and actually seems to care about the middle to lower class.

Huge dope.

But I heard he wants to give all of my hard earned stuff to everyone who sits at home with no job! :lmao:

Yeah, none of that would happen. For whatever reason, people think huge amounts of their paycheck would be leaving their pocket. And every time a democrat or republican has been in office, has ANY of that ever happened? Have you thought to yourself, "Man, F those democrats, look at all this money coming out!!?" We've paid the same shitty taxes for hundreds of years. That will not change, no matter what.

When Clinton swears into the oval office, nothing will change. Nothing ever changes.

That's why I thought Sanders would be a good choice. He is a very positive guy who is rooted in the people. Meanwhile, the Republican front-runner wants to put symbols on Muslims, deport the "Mexican rapists" (because, SOMEONE's doing the raping according to him), build a wall that will never work, and buddy up to his corporate partners.

my health insurance costs have gone up at least 30% since Obama Care. I pay more in taxes than I ever have. I don't know how having a socialist president would help me or this country

I don't agree with Obama Care, that's one thing I'm with you on.

But, taxes have been the same shitty taxes they've always been, no matter where I am.

It's funny that you agree with Sanders about Obamacare and you don't even know it. He's said numerous times it isn't working. But Socialism, Socialism, Socialism! RED SCARE! STALIN AND CASTRO!

of course it isn't working...but he wants to take it even further. Free health care for everyone! We should all know that nothing is free!

He's called for 'Medicare for all', not 'free healthcare for everyone'. He's laid out how he plans on paying for it numerous times. You and I would save money. The reason Obamacare doesn't work is because it's still dependent on private insurance companies that gouge the living shit out of people like you and I.

The only people calling it 'free healthcare' are the misinformed and/or the people that will say anything to sway someone towards their candidate of choice.

But it doesn't matter, now you get 4-8 years of Shillary and more Obamacare. Enjoy!

I have read how he plans to pay for it...not a very sound plan. Also, you really want our inept government responsible for our healthcare? Big government...the Socialist plan. Awesome!

Repealing Obamacare and replacing it with something worse isn't a very good argument for supporting Sanders. You will not pay less for medicare for all. Nobody who currently pays will pay less - they will all pay more. Those who don't pay anything and still won't pay anything will be the only people not negatively impacted by the cost of health care. Everyone will be impacted by the decline in quality of healthcare because it will be run by the same boobs who run all the other failed government programs and feckless agencies like the EPA, FDA, etc.

So Illinois has a weird way of running their primary. You vote for delegates who have pledged to different candidates. So for a given district, if they have 3 delegates, you take you 3 votes, vote for the 3 delegates that are committed to your pick, and whoever has the most supporters gets their 3 delegates elected. Split delegate votes do happen for some reason, but I don't get the impression that it's common. 538 picked out the biggest discrepancies and in 7 of the 12 worst cases, the guy getting more votes had an Anglo-sounding name and the guy trailing had a foreign or minority-sounding name. It looks like it cost Trump at 3 delegates.

But Trump?s Illinois disparities were unique to his candidacy, and they lend credibility to the theory that racial resentment is commonplace among his supporters.

Same here. Our household effective tax rate is huge. Or as Trump would say, Uuuuge.

Simply not true. I've done the math using what his proposed tax rate would be for my household (2.2%). I would definitely be paying less than what I'm paying now and even prior to Obamacare.

There's nothing socialist about Obamacare. It's primarily a law that says everybody has to buy insurance from private companies. How people interpret that primarily in terms of socialist vs. capitalist is beyond me.

What's simply not true is your taxes will only go up by 2.2%.

Another thing that's simply not true is the idea that you can get healthcare to 50 million more people just by pushing paper around rather than either increasing the supply of doctors or reducing the amount of time each person sees a doctor. How can the costs to insurance companies go up by 40-ish percent? Is the average doctor seeing 40% more patients or are there 40% more doctors that magically appeared when the law was passed? Because it seems like most people got 20% price increases two years in a row. If all that extra money is going to the insurance companies, we're supposed to believe their costs went up proportionally, right?
