This is going to be critical this year and for 2015-2016 which could be a final four run if things fall into place. I haven't seen Harris or Forbes play but I don't think either have good enough ball skills to play the 1 for extended minutes. Valentine can but I don't know if he has the quickness to guard smaller PG's with quickness. We'll need 25+ minutes from Nairn as a sophomore. we've talked about the glut of wing players we have for that season, there's a chance that someone transfers considering 1/3 of college players transfer at least once in their careers but it's not going to be Harris or Forbes since Harris wouldn't sit out again and Forbes got a waiver to be near his family. Ellis is a candidate but that depends on how Bess and Clark play this year. Ahrens and Mcquaid will be freshmen, they're not going anywhere for 2015-2016.
Cassius Winston would be a great get for 2015 and there's a lot of mutual interest but that's a year away
my point is that we don't have a spot for another PG so it's going to be the Tum Tum show in 2015, all reports say that he's a little raw and not able to finish when he takes it to the basket. You need to either be a good outside shooter like Trice or a guy who can drive and finish, you have to respect at least one of those, otherwise you have Keith Appling post injury.
We need Tum Tum to make some strides, I don't doubt he'll put the work in.
