This is going to be critical this year and for 2015-2016 which could be a final four run if things fall into place. I haven't seen Harris or Forbes play but I don't think either have good enough ball skills to play the 1 for extended minutes. Valentine can but I don't know if he has the quickness to guard smaller PG's with quickness. We'll need 25+ minutes from Nairn as a sophomore. we've talked about the glut of wing players we have for that season, there's a chance that someone transfers considering 1/3 of college players transfer at least once in their careers but it's not going to be Harris or Forbes since Harris wouldn't sit out again and Forbes got a waiver to be near his family. Ellis is a candidate but that depends on how Bess and Clark play this year. Ahrens and Mcquaid will be freshmen, they're not going anywhere for 2015-2016.

Cassius Winston would be a great get for 2015 and there's a lot of mutual interest but that's a year away

my point is that we don't have a spot for another PG so it's going to be the Tum Tum show in 2015, all reports say that he's a little raw and not able to finish when he takes it to the basket. You need to either be a good outside shooter like Trice or a guy who can drive and finish, you have to respect at least one of those, otherwise you have Keith Appling post injury.

We need Tum Tum to make some strides, I don't doubt he'll put the work in.

Are you telling me the PG is critical for the success of an Izzo team???

Thanks, captain obvious.

We have a senior PG and a freshman, we have three scholarships taken for the 2015 glass, a power forward and two wings that don't have PG skills. we have offers out to Ellinson and Swanigan, both bigs. for 2015-2016 we'll have Tum Tum who is a 1 and then Denzel who isn't a PG, he can play there but he's more of a 3. in that season, it's Nairn or nobody really. he's not ready to handle a team now, he needs to get there or we're missing the most critcal piece on what could be a title contender. It's not as cut and dry as your smart ass comment makes it seem

you recruited a guy named Tum Tum?

Did George Lucas name him?

C'mon, I wouldn't even expect to hear that from Johnny2x2x. That sounds like the ramblings of a crazy person...
