TV stations - to show F-bombs or not

We've all seen athletes do this, even heard them from time to time (isn't there supposed to be a time delay of a few seconds in order to delete those moments? or is that the old school and nowadays no one cares?)...but do these fans have a point? Should the networks be a little more cautious considering there are youngsters watching?

Or does it go back to the fact that kids at the games will hear far worse from the fans around them, or kids at home will hear it from those around them during games and other times, so it doesn't really matter.

Personally, I don't care if it is shown and I feel comfortable enough with my son to discuss such behaviors in an open fashion, just wondering how others feel about it.

Players and coaches swearing while game is on is not new..I don't think there's any delay with live programing..

The point of the complaints is that they keep the camera on players, primarily Tom Brady, as the F F F parade is in progress; not that that the camera inadvertently catches players from time to time in the F bomb act.

While it's a little thing, I can kinda see the point; there's no football action, obviously, while a player is on the sidelines F bombing away; there's no redeeming value in focusing on it.

I think I read 3 ppl complained. If 10 million more complain then MAYBE they MIGHT be in the majority and have a legitimate complaint. Until then STFU...and stop...just stop.

This reminds me of the time someone tried to get me kicked out of a Damons bar and grill. It was a Sunday and I was there with friends watching a Lion game. They were playing Jacksonville and Jimmy smith had 2 long TD's and I said Son of a Bitch and Fuck this older lady went and complained to the manager because she was there with her grandkids. My thing was your in a bar area during a Lion game you should just expect some swearing and if you dont like it move to the quiet dinning area. I won the argument.

I do have some news for some people...all of the parents trying to shield your kids from swearing....they're doing it anyways....just not around you...and that's the way it should be.

I didn't see it live but if they are airing the actual sound then its on the network. If its him just mouthing the word, kids will only know what he is saying if they already learned the word and that is on the parents. I'll file this under who the fuck cares.

Yeah, that's true too; it's pretty hard to be a Lions' fan and not be f bombing during the Lions game...
