Apparently, when they caught their players selling shoes, they saw Michigan Jordans for sale too. Could be a thing, could be nothing, we'll see.

"Michigan, with 23 pairs, had the most shoes on the exchange. It also had the highest average price of $4,671 a pair."

"Michigan football spokesman Dave Ablauf said the number of sales tracked by StockX doesn't mean Wolverines players sold the shoes. Ablauf said executives and celebrities receive the special shoes, as do Nike's Michigan endorsers in the pros. The school itself also might have donated, at times, some pairs to charity."

"Ablauf said Michigan players sign a form that acknowledges that selling the shoes would jeopardize their eligibility. The shoes are also marked by the equipment staff with the player's name or uniform number, making it more difficult to sell them anonymously."

Easy to figure out. If the shoes stood on the site has a player's name or number in them, that player is getting some sort of suspension.

Can't remember the details on UNC, but I think they're expecting a one game suspension for most of their players who got caught.

Looked it up and suspensions range 1-4 games.

Probably depends on the amount of money. If one player sold a couple pairs of $4,600 shoes, it could be a slightly bigger deal than what we see at other schools. But overall, yeah, shouldn't impact the most important parts of the season and if it impacts ND, that would show we're taking it seriously. Effin' ND.

Maybe, maybe not. Could be players that have already graduated, right?

From what I have read it could be just about anyone in the program including players. The shoes were also given to administrators and people within the athletic program. Boosters and celebrities and people around Nike were given the same shoes. I had thought they were player exclusives but I guess they use that term when particular shoes were not given to the general public.

This is the biggest non story I can imagine. I guess I assume every athlete at the major universities is doing this. Why the hell wouldn’t they? Who gives a shit if they do?

I saw some OSU fans around that were very interested. They were using this to deflect from their drama. Saying that Michigan isn't that clean themselves and to mind their own house

HaHa

I agree. I thought the same when Pryor and those guys got in trouble.

Always remember what got OSU in trouble wasnt so much the tattoos and the sale of items. It was that OSU knew and tried to cover it up. Tressel signed a statement to the NCAA claiming he knew nothing but when they looked into it Tressel not only knew what was going on but he was key in the cover up.

Per Harbaugh: All players went through and shoe inventory and all shoes are accounted for so he doesnt see any players missing any time.

Yesterday I saw that they found a pair sold with #52 in them. I highly doubt it's Mason Cole. Most likely Elysee Mbem-Bosse. He left the program and talked shit about Harbaugh so it wasn't a clean break.

Those are some pricey shoes . Glad I hate the way they feel on my feet so I never look at Nike shoes.
