Update on Best

Yeah I'll just believe it when I see it. He did play 15 games in 2010 a year after the big concussion(of course had the turf toe) but I'll believe it when I see it.

i was one of the big draft jahvid over mccluster supporters....best was my guy i wanted that year......unfortunately he has a big injury bug...depressing because he made alot of big plays this year

for me hes one of those guys where his track speed doesnt translate cause he doesnt get in and out of cuts fast enough. Wasted first round pick...sooner we move on the better.

he was averaging 100 yards a game and was second on the team in plays of 20 yards or more at the time of injury...production was solid from him this year...health was not

i hear ya...i equate that production being from scheme though moreso than him being a great back. Kevin Smith came in off the streets and put up better numbers. MM has shown if hes given the ball that many times he will get over 100 yds of production too. Im just not that impressed with the guy and its because he was a 1st round pick. If we sit there in the 2nd round and we take him maybe im less critical, but the fact is we traded up to get a guy in the first round and i just dont see it. Was a bad pick imo and at this point itd be impossible to change my mind.

yeah honestly if his finger is that bad they shoulda sat him..cuz even most of his td's against carolina were short passes screens etc.

I'll put Best in the Joel Zumaya category

That's how I feel. You just can't count on him. And I don't know how someone with a history of bad concussions overcomes that...especially when their chosen profession involves them being in the equivalent of multiple head on collisions/car accidents every week.

Talent wasn't the question, bro. It was his health that concerned everybody.
