Van Noy still hurt

A bit extreme. I'd start with sitting him through OTAs.

I was joking. Need this guy to stay healthy and show us something

Van Noy is taking part in team activities though. Can't be that hurt.

The guy had a surgery to repair his "core muscle" in his abdomen.

Anyone who has seen me knows for fact I know nothing about abdominal muscles, and can't find mine with a road map. I'm fat. But I hear a lot about core strength and how those muscles affect everything else.

I can't imagine that would be a quick recovery, or that he will probably be "100%" any time soon. That, to my very untrained ears, sounds very radical and involved.

But like LKP said, it also can't be all that serious. He's participating in OTAs, and he played some last season as well.

So what is he... 90%? 95%? 75%?

By week four, there isn't a player in the league at 100%.

I'm 36.....had sports hernia surgery 4 years ago. It is not something you quickly recover from. I am well aware that these guys are another class of athlete than I am....but it took me a solid year to no longer feel the effects of it.

If he's saying he's not 100% but is still out there with the 1's......my GUESS is what he means is he can still feel the effects of the surgery and the recovery process....but it is not something that he's going to re-injure at this point.

Sorry but I found it funny when you said "I'm fat."

I'm 5'10" and 285lbs.

Only because I still have some "shape" to me other than round do I not use the phrase "morbidly obese".

Fat is what I am.
