Vikes have also called Tampa to try and get them to move....

i think i read that they wanted to move down and their main focus would be Floyd if they could get in the 7-12 range.

There's so much bullshit being reported now. If Minny is taking Claiborne, and the Browns take TR, and the Bucs pass on Kalil, why wouldn't you try trading with Tampa instead? They'd be reaching for Kuechly at 5, they could probably get him at 10 anyways.

Now there's reports Cleveland will take Claiborne over TR, probably just bullshit to discourage Minny from trading with Tampa so they can still get TR at 4.

And honestly, I still think Minny has been bullshitting this whole time. They know Tampa wanted TR or Claiborne, so they've pretended to prefer Claiborne to get Tampa to make a trade and ensure they get one of their top two. I'm starting to think everyone is just gonna call out everyone else's bullshit, Minny will take Kalil, Cleveland will take TR, Tampa will take Claiborne, and the Rams will take Blackmon. But who knows.....

I ve said all along if they passed on Kalil it would be Millenesque.

I dont blame buffalo for wanting to move up to take Kalil. The guy will make them better. The vikes trying to move back to 10 makes no sense. They need Kalil, I dont really see how claiborne helps them as much. He probably isnt the best corner when its all said and done. But who knows they have a ton of holes.

No chance Claiborne is on the board at #10, so if the Vikes make that deal, they probably still take a lesser caliber O-Lineman and the picks.

Trying to snag Floyd at ten?

Floyd at ten is the same as blackmon at 3 except blackmon will spend more time on the field. For the Claiborne argument I was making I was thinking more of them at 3 which I think is a mistake. Also there is no way cleveland takes him. They already have Haden and their whole team sucks.

In today's NFL I would never say never to any pick.

I never would have thought the Lions would go DT last year in the first, but when you like the guy that falls you way, I guess you gotta pull that trigger.

A superior secondary seems to be the quest of every team now with all the rule changes done to soup up the passing game. Even with Haden in house, I can't say I would be totally shocked to see Holmgren take Claiborne, though he could certainly spend his pick wiser.

I think the Jets proved why a strong secondary isnt enough. When the pass rush struggles even the best secondary gets beat. I could see the browns I guess but think the pick would be a waste especially given the fact that their division is filled with run happy teams. But this draft is one of the more all over type drafts. Anything can happen. Im thinking a few guys no one is talking about as first round guys will get grabbed in the top 20.

Agreed. This draft is all over the map, and more than a few guys could sneak their way into the first round.

If I had to pick one guy who could make it in that no one has considered, I'd say Brandon Weeden. If it wasn't for the fact he's 29, he might be challenging Luck for the top overall pick. His arm is a cannon with a laser sight.

Kipers got Cleveland taking him at 22. If you decided McCoy is a no go then i guess you pull the trigger on a change.

Buuuuuttttt...You go Richardson at 5 and a guy like Stephen Hill at 22 and i think you get a better understanding of what McCoy could be. Maybe theyre over it cause his dad called them out and put the franchise in a negative light.

That is one of the most impressive sports sciences I have ever seen. That is tough as hell to hit a fired pigeon with a football.

First rounder, and to the Browns at #22.

Kiper gets one right for a change.
