I know it's early and this isn't 100% but it sounds like he's staying. I've heard the same thing from Gholston but insiders seem to think that it's a 10% chance that trae goes

Junior cornerback Trae Waynes was available for post practice interviews on Tuesday and gave every indication that he will not be joining the NFL Draft after this season.

Despite being ranked the No. 1 cornerback and the No. 13 player overall by NFLDraftScout.com for the 2015 NFL Draft, the 6-foot-1, 182-pound Waynes did his best to put all speculation to rest.

When I asked him about MSU's upcoming Senior Day festivities, Waynes immediately said, "I'm not a senior though.''

And when I asked him about the Senior Day ceremony and his thoughts about it and looking forward to it, he said, "It's a great experience for everybody, especially the guys that are leaving, like the seniors and stuff because it's their last game and it's been a special time being at MSU because we're a family here and it means a lot to everybody.''

Then, when he was asked point blank if the idea of leaving had maybe hit him or if was thinking about the game against Rutgers as being his last, Waynes simply shook his head no and firmly said, "Nope, not at all.''

If anyone should go it's him. He will be the highest Spartan taken. I'm not sold on Shilique in the nfl.
If all those guys come back it could be a really special year next year. Maybe they want to come back and try to win a championship. I haven't looked at next year schedule but I'm assuming OSU and Oregon will be the biggest tests again. With all of those guys back I'd like our chances.

the insiders say shilique is 90% gone, at least it's a position of depth. if we play cooper and malik at the ends, heath and evans inside and rotate some young guys we'll be good there.

next year could be really special

Anyone see the article on Mlive about two executives saying Cook is a first round pick while watching the Maryland game? The NFL must be really desperate for QBs because as I watched the Maryland game cook was below average. I just don't get it. Maybe they just believe he has huge up side?

If Brian Hoyer is a semi-effective NFL starter, then anything is possible.

It's a good thing Johnny2x2x is still in hiding after his "we have an elite defense" talk just days before the Ohio State game otherwise he would be laying into you for this blasphemous post.
