Does Brady take the 15 yard penalty so we can wear our home uniforms? I would.

For that matter, the bowls aught to allow both teams to wear their home uni's (unless they are the same color of course

).

Michigan wore white when they won the Orange Bowl over Bama after the '99 season...i say just wear white...

I prefer the home blues to visiting whites, especially the white bumblebees!!!

I was gonna say that!

I bet that M is about the same whether wearing white or blue on bowl games.

Besides, whether we're in Blue or Maize-dominant uniforms, it's certain VaTech will show up looking like some Jackson Pollack painting with 3D logos hidden in the helmet design and two colors never associated with the program, comprising a significant part of the look.

M is 1-0 when wearing white, and 0-3 when wearing blue in BCS Bowls.

Exactly, and we show up in our "best college football uniform" home jerseys.

Time to reverse that trend then!!

I wonder what it is for all bowls.

Is it a 15 yard penalty, or a charged time out?

Either way, it ain't gonna happen.

M is gonna wear the road unis.

I like it; it's gonna mean another road win.

I do like the road win facet of it.

I'm almost positive that when U$C did it a few years ago it was a 15 yard penalty, cuz I remember it was the first time I'd ever seen a flag fly before the opening kick off!

It's the only thing I've ever liked that U$C did.

From the NCAA Rules:

Jersey Color and Design
ARTICLE 5. a. Players of opposing teams shall wear jerseys of contrasting
colors. Players on the same team shall wear jerseys of the same color and
design.
1. The visiting team shall wear white jerseys; however, the home team may
wear white jerseys if the teams have agreed in writing before the season.
2. If the home team wears colored jerseys, the visiting team may also
wear colored jerseys, if and only if the following conditions have been
satisfied:
a. The home team has agreed in writing prior to the game; and
b. The conference of the home team certifies that the jersey of the
visiting team is of a contrasting color.
3. If on the kickoff at the start of each half, the visiting team wears a
colored jersey in violation of the conditions specified in paragraph 2
(above), it is a foul for unsportsmanlike conduct.
PENALTY: Administer as a dead-ball foul. 15 yards at the succeeding spot
following the kickoff. If the kickoff is returned for a touchdown, the penalty
is assessed either on the try or on the succeeding kickoff, at the option of the
home team.
[S27]

So it's actually two penalties.

Really, I don't think the colors are contrasting enough. I doubt there will actually even be any discussion about it.

I would say the rank.

*facepalm* That makes sense, I never thought of it like that! Haha

Well, that would make sense except I thought I saw a graphic showing #1 LSU vs #2 Alabama with the bowl logo and, as we all know, the visiting team is listed first.

Here's the BCS web site. LSU is listed first there too:
