It's really rare in the NFl for teams to deny a guy the ability to move up into a better position, but to do it here???

NFL rules state that a team cannot block an interview for a head coaching position only (assuming it's a coordinator or assistant). everything else can be blocked.

Great move by the Lions. Pretty simple....Bears are in QB hell with Cutler. Stafford made some strides this year. Cut down on his INTS, raised up his comp %, smarter with the football and showed some maturity and leadership this year. Nice to see the Bears at least recognize what's going on with our QB. Fuck the Bears though
