Had the Tigers have found a way to score 5 runs in way too many loses and in there 9 inning. Things could have turned out much better.

In the 1st half Tigers could have won 12 additional games And tied 6 more in 9 innings games. Lets say they only went 2-4 in those tied games going into extra. That would have given them 14 more wins! !

Second half has been a nightmare but tigers could have won 8 additional games and tied 5 more by my count, which I have done quickly so error could have happen. As the more I get into this the more I'm getting upset. so lets go 1-4 in those games going into extra innings.9 more wins arg!

Now adding all that up Tigers should have won 23 TWENTY THREE more games had the Offence put up the 5 runs! Could be more as I'm not letting them play .500 in those tied games.

So a record of 87 -53 should have been there! There are way too many games where the offence did not get t done. Way too many 2 run games. Really put too much pressure on the pitching as well IMO. And now it's just a snowball rolling out of control.

IMO the offence has failed as much as the pitching. An a record of 87-53 would have different out comes every where. Heck DD could still be here and Brad could be smiling.

Yes Rebbiv not scoring 5 runs has hurt them. Yep it's really hurt them.

Or, If they hit 9 home runs a game and led the league in ERA we'd also have more wins.
