How does Michigan drop 6 spots while State drops only 2 when both lost to unranked opponents over the weekend? Favoritism in sports sucks ass.

We crushed Iowa, you did not.

You're quite observant, does that mean we drop 6 and you drop 2? We lost one guy from a team that beat you guys twice last year, yet we can't get the benefit of the doubt this year. It doesn't mean we'll do the same thing against MSU this year, but you have to see where we are coming from.

I doubt the voters were thinking much about how UM and MSU match up against each other when filling out their polls. Also, it was MSU's first loss in what, two months? It was Michigan's second in just over a week. Cumulative effect. Watch IU tumble because of the same.

Listen i'm not saying we are world beaters. I was trying to make the point that the BIG10 is best conference top to bottom and a loss shouldn't mean you tumble friggn 9 spots. Ohio loses 3 times within a month and their still at #6. Again, we aren't on that level yet, but 9 spots is huge.

We keep fudging the numbers I think, it was a 7 spot drop in AP, 6 in the Coaches, but yeah, that's healthy drop. I just don't think it's that shocking, again, considering it was their second loss in about a week, and it followed up a home OT win against a lesser team.
Also, Michigan is the 2nd highest ranked 4-loss team in the country. The world is not out to get us.
