Ryan Raburn- A gold glove so he can field

Justin Verlander- that 25th win

Brandon Inge- a 10 year extension so we can watch people complain for the next decade

Leyland- The patch

Alex Avila- a fire extinguisher for his mask

AJ -- Eyes with xray vision so he can see that the outside pitch is not over the plate.

DY -- Patience.

A Tigers World Series Championship

Verlander another Cy Young and 20 something wins and another Pitchers Triple Crown and a lifetime contract.

Cabrera an MVP and another Batting Title and Slugging Title.

Inge a tatoo on his forehead that says "Cringe".

Raburn as Spock? said a hockey net attached to his back/shoulders to stop ground balls he would never get to at second.

Scherzer a perfect 'release point' every pitch.

Porcello to take the next step and mix his pitches up better.

Delmon a new team.

A new leftfielder.

A new leadoff hitter.

A new third base coach.

A new batting coach.

A better farm system with higher ceiling draft picks.

Teams to trade Inge and Raburn to. Iwould be okay I suppose with Young FT in LF, but only IF the Tigers were to get a leadoff-worthy hitter either @ 3B AND a SH or LH SS who can play 2B as well, for just one season, then offer Jhonny a one/two-year extension and move Pheralta to 2nd in '13, IF he still continues to perform well @ the plate and in the IF.

A "#2" LH SP who would instead become #3 in the Tigers' rotation, b/c Fister is gonna be truly awesome again next season.

The chances of the Tigers obtaining just ONE new infielder, much less two look very dim and extremely slim at this point. Sure looks like they plan on taking full advantage of being in the crappy ALCD to help to "hide" and "mask" the team's shortcomings @ the plate, esp with their subs and bench, and their overall mediocre at best defense.

The team as it is now, could indeed win their division, but it is (for now) thinner in the rotation, since Penny is gone, and their "New Coke" strategy failed miserably like many of us fans knew it/he would. They are also not very deep in the OF/'IF with Guillen, Ordonez, Rhymes, Wells, Sizemore, and Betemit now gone. Yeah, I know that they were all pretty much either on the DL for much of last season, or were with the club for only a short period of time, or were shitty when they did play...BUT bodies are bodies, and each one filled in or played a position at one time or another for at least some of it. In fact the only time that I really liked who was in the infield was when Guillen managed to briefly play there, before he became injured again...sigh.
