What's this Souper Bowl thing?

Do they play for soup or something? The football season ended long ago, same as every year...and yet, every year there are teams trying to play for soup around this time.

Is it a random thing that teams get chosen? I don't get how this process works. I mean, I watch the Lions play, the season ends...yet other teams are playing for soup.

Is it sponsored by Campbell's Soup? Maybe one day the Lions will play for soup and I'll have a better understanding of this thing.

I don't know. I have found that homeless people don't have much of a sense of humor. I always have a bunch of McDonalds applications in my glove box so I can hand them to people that stand at intersections with "I will work for food" signs. The funny thing is...they don't say thanks and they don't laugh. I figure I would get at least one response out of them!

I'm starting to think they really don't want to work.
