while video is nice, i miss seeing stats on the

Brandon addressed this on the radio - those are going to be there but the computer that handles that malfunctioned today so they could only get the graphics with the stats on the boards. He said that hopefully they would be there for the ND game next week.

You guys still drying out from the game? I can't wait to be up there next week.

Yup, I was soaked. Felt great to put on dry clothes. I didn't really care while I was at the game because the wetness was nice after baking in the 95 degree sun. It was the car ride home that was a little uncomfortable. Even though it was only a 15-20 minutes drive for me it was still sitting in a car - wet. It was kind of fun at the game to be in that crazy rain.

I can imagine. Hoke looked extremely...calm during the entire game. He got completely soaked and then stayed in his wet clothes. The guy was focused entirely on the game.

my hair is still wet from where the ponytail band is - my clothes were soaked even with poncho

i went to pizza house - leaving about 20 minutes into second rain delay before they called the game
had no radio and had left my iphone at home

i have water in teh basement argh - been happening for past year - i think it is something with the downspout

Is it leaking through the foundation? Maybe your sump pump or the float is on the fritz? You oughta get that checked out. My parents have had thousands worth of damage done when their sump pump went out on them during a heavy rain storm.

no sump pump - very old house

i am thinking it might be downspout in back

i have a floor drain and water is near it but i am not seeing it actually come up through it

Sounds like a downspout or conductor is blocked. That's a pretty easy fix. Tell MB09 (aka gay4kovacs) to get his ass to your house and clean out those gutters.

how do i fix it? I had power rodding out thinking it was main floor drain but when they went into that line, he found an offshoot which was downspout line

Do your downspouts connect to underground pipes that take the rain water to the curb at the street?

that is what i assume

The pipes that take the water to the curb is called a downspout conductor. On a dry day you should pour water down the conductor and see if water flows freely through the curb hole. If not, you could push a typical garden hose through the curb hole until it stops. That will give you the depth of the blockage. Then you would have to dig to expose the pipe. Cut the blockage out, and splice in new conductor. It sounds worse than it is.

okay if i can't do it , who can?
Typically any landscaping company can make that repair. I would advise you to try and diagnose it yourself, then call around for pricing to fix it. It also might be as easy as leaves in the gutter blocking the downspout. That's a really easy fix.
