Bases juiced, score on wild pitch. 1-0 Detroit. Could have had a much better inning.

Hutchison pitching like shit. 1 2/3 inning and has already given up 5 hits and 2 BB

It's amazing how many guys clear waivers and then end back up with detroit within weeks. NOBODY WANTS GUYS LIKE HUTCHISON! I'm sure Barnes will be next

It's disconcerting when the major Detroit papers routinely fail to report on local stories that other cities cover. Let's just hope this all works out well in the end for Rodriguez and his family.
Totally Tigers

Jeimer Candelario did agility drills today. He?s headed out to join Mud Hens in Worcester on Wednesday to begin a rehab assignment.

Michael Pineda will throw to hitters sometime this weekend at Comerica Park. If that goes well, he?ll likely join Mud Hens for a rehab start next week.

Tigers are unwatchable. I just have lost interest in them. They play a terrible brand of baseball. Players unsuited for the park they play in, and a Gm that is clueless.

B?ez shines with glove, but offensive woes continue.

White Sox 5 - Tigers 1: The offense is stuck in neutral.
Soft ground balls and strikeouts were the order of the day.

Tigers can't solve White Sox starter Dylan Cease once again, drop third straight.

WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY.
Totally Tigers

Today, another opportunity for readers to discuss the hottest topics in a forum where thoughtful dialog and a variety of opinions are welcomed.

Let?s create some running conversational threads. And for those of you still going into offices, here?s a question to take with you ? or use via Zoom calls ? as you talk to your co-workers.

The All-Star game takes place in one month and given the rules, each team must send at least 1 representative to the event.

Who is the most deserving Tiger?

Is it Miguel Cabrera who leads the team in almost every hitting category and #1 in all 4 slash line stats?

Or is it Tarik Skubal who has shown he?s the ace of the starting rotation? He leads the rotation in wins, ERA and WHIP (through last week).

Should Cabrera go because of his stellar achievements in reaching 3,000 hits and 500 HRs? Or is it better for him to get extra rest?

What about Skubal? The Tigers? starting rotation is stretched thin and they are being forced to schedule weekly bullpen games as a result. Is he too precious a commodity to send to a game that doesn?t matter in the grand scheme of things?

Who should go?
Which Tiger would you send to the All-Star game?

1. Miguel Cabrera

2. Tarik Skubal

The Tigers lose 5-1. They managed 9 hits, but 8 were singles, and they went 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position.

It?s the 30th time this season they?ve scored 2 runs or fewer. They are 2-28 in those games.
