This is Sparty. That is how 95% of them act. 95% of their fans are proud of how their players played today. That is exactly how the MSU players, MSU coaches, and MSU fans act everyday. That is how they play. 95% of the fanbase was thrilled when they saw each and every personal foul. They loved it!

People need to realize that this is how it is. Sure, there are a few Sparties that aren't like that, but they are the vast minority!

Oh! They don't care if any of their players are suspended for any other game. This is the super bowl for them. They don't care about the B1G championship. All they care about is beating Michigan. If they can do that and hurt a few of them with cheap shots...bonus!!

They'd gladly take losses in the UW and Nebraska games if it means beating Michigan.

"They were definitely more physical," Michigan safety Jordan Kovacs said. "They pounded us, and ate us up."

"They weren't playing dirty," Denard Robinson said. "They were playing football. It's a dirty game."

"I don't know how they played dirty," Hoke said. "They had some personal fouls on late hits on the quarterback, but you can get those all the time."

Tough pill to swallow eh? You got your ass kicked. Suck it up and stop whining like a little bitch.

Those are classy players staying classy in defeat. You should take a lesson.

I didn't get my ass kicked. I'm not whining. I'm just calling it like it is.

Stay classy. Your post shows what % of the fan base you are clearly in...and you tried to act all high and mighty. You are one with it, through and through. Go ahead and act tough on a msg board, though, tough guy.

And your posts show that you are having a hard time accepting that the school you root for is nothing special and it hurts worse because the Michigan Gear you bought at Walmart is going to be 70% off tomorrow.

Michigan got beat by a better team. The only ones whining about rough play are fans like you. Not the players, not the Press, just whiny fans whose weekend has been ruined.

And this game was bigger for Michigan than it was for State, for maybe the 1st time since the 60s.

I buy all my stuff straight from MDen. I don't even go to Walmart. You're stupid with that stuff...straight from the Sparty fan book.

I never said that MIchigan didn't get beat by a better team. The dirty play had nothing to do with it. MSU could've beaten Michigan without the dirty play, but then they wouldn't have been MSU.

Like I said, You support the behavior. I understand you and see you for what you truly are. Trying to twist someone's head around has no place on the football field, yet you support that behavior and cheer it on.

This IS and will forever BE Sparty's super bowl. Its a big game for MIchigan, no doubt, but its not the only thing on their plate and its not even the biggest game of the season. That one is the last one of the regular season and always will be.

I am not whining about the dirty play. I am certainly not whining about rough play. IF anything, I am doing the exact opposite. I am saying that no MIchigan fan should be whining and none of them should be surprised. This is what you get when you play Sparty.

Not surprised that you fail to understand this simple concept.

It is entirely possible that Gohlston should get suspended for a game..

THAT WAS CRAZY: Will Gholston had a fine day for the Spartans, but he probably shouldn't have been on the field for the fourth quarter. In the third quarter, Gholston was flagged for piling on Denard Robinson well after the play was over, then wrenching Robinson's helmet around for good measure. Later in the quarter, Gholston was being manhandled away from the play by Michigan OL Taylor Lewan, and when Gholston made it to his feet, he summarily punched Lewan in the facemask. Famed referee Mike Pereira said on Twitter that he would have ejected Gholston, and it's entirely possible that MSU or the Big Ten will suspend Gholston next week when Wisconsin comes to town.

LOL, it hurts doesn't it? Don't worry, you'll get another chance in about 360 or so days, I mean we only return 10 of 11 starters on defense so it should be a cake walk for that soft team you field over in Ann Arbor.

I don't shop at the distributing arm of the Peoples Republic of China and neither should Sparty fan's.

i wouldn't say it hurts. I'm upset that MIchigan lost. What fan wouldn't be?

That being said, the dirty stuff pulled has nothing to do with it, win or lose.

Not surprising you're too dumb to understand that.

btw, neither one of us plays. I didn't get my ass kicked and I won't get a chance next year to do anything but cheer. Funny how you actually act like you are out there doing something.

And yet late in the fourth after all the dirty play by the classless team from East lansing Michigan still had a chance to tie the score until dumb fuck Borges decided a play action pass on 4th and inches.. Sparty was aligned on that play so my cat could have falling over for a first down. who knows what those 4 extra downs may have lead too. a tie score and MSU still going into the wind which they were not having to much success at..

Johnny 2x2 you're a dufus.

The press WAS saying Sparty was dirty - immediately. both Spielman and Meyer kept commenting that it was unimaginable that Golsten wasn't run.

Golsten will be suspended by the B1G Monday morning.

You sound like a poor sport to me. Where do you get these percentages anyway ? Quit crying about it, you lost, it has nothing to do with the fans. Grow up, act your age and quit being such a baby.

Let me get this straight, you're the one making blanket statements that no one should be surprised that MSU fans like cheap play, implying that all MSU fans don't care if our players go over the line?

"That is exactly how the MSU players, MSU coaches, and MSU fans act everyday."

Really? You're an idiot if you think that and you are looking at this game through emotionally colored glasses. You got beat by a much more physical team today. A couple plays crossed the line, but then again several other plays on both sides that didn't get called crossed the line too. There were several blatant chop blocks I saw where the defender was already being engaged, but you know what it's Football and the team that 's more physical usually wins and that happened today.

So instead of taking your medicine and giving Michigan State Football it's due you choose to insult their fans, players, and coaches. As if Michigan is above playing tough and rough football.

Hey, if that's what will help you get to sleep tonight, knock yourself out, but know that the players on your team know they got their asses kicked fair and square and will work hard to make sure they account themselves better next year.

He obviously isn't dealing with the loss very good johnny, to resort to calling out a University's fans because you lost is cheap, low and with out respect, everything UM is not SUPPOSED to be.

Hey they refused to shake our player's hands afterward, but I'm sure it was emotional for them and they're kids and it was loud. And yes, when they left the field the MSU fans were taunting them with chants of , Little brother, littler brother." At least Hoke shook Dantonio's hand.

It's the arrogance of a few fans that is hard to believe. You're grabbing onto anything to still feel superior. You got beat, you got whooped, it's 4 years in a row and there is nothing left to say except that "we'll get you next year." Instead you'd rather insult a whole program so you can somehow hold onto an undeserved arrogance of some sort even after having your team humbled on a national stage. Suck it up and root for your team win or lose, talk some smack for sure, but don't still be an arrogant asshole, there's nothing to be arrogant about anymore.

J.

Your team is dirty.. Congrats on the win.. Gohlston should have been kicked out of the game in the 3rd quarter. Your defensive coordinator is classless and MSU was in fact trying to injure players.

That head twist has no business on a football field and if you say one thing to defend it it show how much you in fact know about football period... You can watch that late hit 1000 times but it all is the same... Robinson is down Gohlston piles on him and then twist his head hard... No question about it.. it was a dirty play..

Yeah, it was a dirty play, but it's football and there are dozens of dirty plays not focused on each game. Try telling me that if you watch the game again you wont see linemen trying to chop block Gholston while he's already being blocked. Gholston crossed the line on a couple plays, but don't act like Michigan wasn't out there cutting guys left and right all game. There were several times I yelled at my TV and a few times MSU players limped off the field from it. That's football, State players crossed the line more often, that's why they got so many penalties that kept Michigan in it, but don't act like it was anything totally egregious. The team that was flying around and creaming guys all game got flagged more often like they should, but don't make a federal case out of run of the mill rough play just in order to hang onto something after a devastating defeat.
