Why Stafford will never be a great QB

you were the one being a dumbfuck and contradicting yourself. I was pointing out fact. Dalton gets a bunch of shit for leading his team to the playoffs. Staff gets to sit in his cushy little position and not take any shit for leading his team to yet another 2nd half collapse vs a bunch of shit teams.

Who says Stafford doesnt take any flack? YOU?! Whats your fn deal?? He's getting trashed in every media outlet possible. Time for him to lead, step up. The radio, fans and the experts are all calling him out. What planet are you on??

And the situation isnt even remotely close to each other. Are you dense? Dalton is a 2nd rd QB coming into a contract year and Stafford is in a huge deal right now. Why would ESPN run an article on what to do with Stafford? Fn think about it, you doofus .....cmon.

That is true Stafford got shredded at the end of this season. We even got a Jeffery Chadiliha article or whatever his name is on ESPN on Stafford. Dalton is the flavor of the week. Both deserve it imo. It would be interesting to see if the same debate is going on among Cincy fans though, if Dalton has his fierce defenders like he does on here.

Both deserve it of course. Im sure Dalton has his supporters and doubters.

hughes thinks Ravens and Steelers are cupcakes. Plus the Browns.

Oh and they played the AFC East. That should be 9 easys wins out of 10 games right there accoring to hughes. Another cupcake hosting the Vikings. 10 wins right there.

Lost at Chicago. But beat GB at home (thanks to some GB fumbles).

And then beat Detroit. Was Detroit a cupcake hughes at 4-2. Dalton had a good first half and first drive in second half picking on Houston on a double move, nice short field off a blocked FG (3 one way to 7 the other). Then got the Martin shanked punt for the winning FG "drive".

Since youre so big on PROOF. then last weekend should have been enough proof for you. CIN got creamed by the 3rd best team in the afc west. BAL was pathetic and didn't even score a TD and beat us. PIT was awful. CLE lmao. Vikings? BWAHAHAHAHA. And ya Detroit is a cupcake...cause we lose more games than we win. Difference is Cinci beat the bad teams they played...we shit the bed.

Cincy lost to Cleveland, at Steelers and Ravens and lost to Miami. "Bad teams" you say.

And Cincy lost at Chicago, a place Detroit won.

Beating Indy, Pats(in a monsoon) and Packers at home was impressive.

The bottom line is all teams have good and bad weeks. With the Lion's schedule they should have won 10 games but they didn't!

For the Lions second half of the schedule we had good week and bad weeks.

Bengals could have been 6-10 with the Lions schedule too. Go play at Green Bay without AJ Green. Still a win for them? They lost at Chicago and at Cle. Teams the Lions beat.

I don't know. They did go 3-1 playing NFC central teams though. The Bengals also beat Baltimore and Pittsburg. Anyway, does it really matter? The Bengals played up to their potential and the Lions didn't.

You are replacing them in the Lions spot in this scenario. They beat GB at home. So did Detroit. They beat Min at home. So did Detroit. They lost at Chi, Detroit won there. So then you have at Min (no AJ Green), at GB (no AJ Green) and Chicago in Cincy. They would need to win 2 of those games to match Detroit's 4-2 record.

How about we do this. The Bengals and Lions both started off 6-3. The Bengals finished the job going 5-2 in thier last 7. The lions went 1-6. That's the difference between these two teams!

Who cares?!?!?! The cards aren't dealt fairly to each individual team. If a team loses its star WR for 2 games, it doesn't mean all 31 other teams have to sit their best WR for 2 games. It's completely POINTLESS to hypothesize about this crap. Just get over it. The Lions didn't play up to their potential and the Bengals did.

if they play without aj green.....they still have a way better defense than us and run the ball effectively with gio Bernard. Not to mention Gresham outperformed Pettigrew and marvin jones had a nice year for them with 10 td catches. Hence they won 11 games...

Yeah I'm sure the coverages dont' change with Green out. Rolls eyes.

Bengals had 3.4 YPC on the day by the way at home against Green Bay. Bernard did well, not BGE.

Lions held Pack to 22 at Lambeau. Pack scored 30 against Bengals in Cincy.

you lose again hughes.

All I know is we aren't winning consistently. If we're as good as experts think and some of you on here think - why aren't we? It can't all be Gym Shorts..Just more excuses, and it's not because we don't have a #2 wide out or a second corner.

We're suppose to have a great QB, we have a good oline, a good dline, solid RB - a lot of teams don't even have that..

Of the playoff teams, outside of maybe Dalton the rest of the QBs smoked Stafford this year. It's not even funny.

This was Stafford with the playoffs on the line. WTF? First is Bal and second is Giants. No flukes, blizzards, at home, sleeping in his own bed.

come on...we all know it was flukey drops. He played well enough to win those games!!!

But the drops, and the throw aways (not QB fault). And his gf was in attendance. He was awesome.

Jamall Charles averaged more yards per carry in some games than Stafford averaged yards per pass in the Giants game.
