Not much in the minors for the tigers that I see in Toledo. Kreidler and Clemens.. Where are all the great Tiger hitting prospects AA. Find a damn Charley Lau to teach our tigers To hit ! I mean he was born in Romulus Michigan! There has to be another great hitting coach out there a?

Grossman, Meadows, and Schoop are a combined 0-19 with 9 strikeouts against Chapman.

Yankees win 4-2. 10 damn lob?s for the tigers. This team just can?t hit.

What was Alexander?s error ? Tiger fielding continues to be a issue. 2 unearned runs right there.

Could help us. Next park in 2050 needs to have a retractable roof.

Yankees 4 - Tigers 2: Walks and strikeouts and lousy defense.
This slog of a game was ugly early on, and frankly, not much happened after that.

Prior to tonight's April 20th game, the Tigers have placed RHP Matt Manning on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 17, with right shoulder inflammation.

In a corresponding move, RHP Angel De Jesus has been recalled from Triple A Toledo.

The Tigers called up Angel De Jesus, who Detroit signed as an international signing in 2016. With the bullpen spent from last night, this move makes sense.
De Jesus throws a fastball, slider and the occasional changeup.

Alex Lange has thrown 78 pitches this year, and just 20 have been fastballs. That?s 25.6%.

Since Comerica Park opened in 2000, only two Tigers pitchers have thrown fastballs fewer than 30% of the time (min 10 IP).

Blaine Hardy in 2019.
Steve Sparks in 2002 and 2003.
