7th for Stanton, lmao. I still can't believe he was drafted in round 2.

as well as playing time , they take into account the amount of $$$ the player was signed away for....Flynn was 26 million
Even as a diehard MSU fan.....I laughed a little when he was drafted. I thought SOMEONE might reach for him in the late3rd/early 4th .....but more likely he would be a 5th or 6th round pick.
Leave it to Millen and Martz to think they were smarter than EVERYONE else.
Rumor is Arians wants him to go to ARI with him. Loved his work ethic and knowledge of the system.
Is this guy any good, Eric Fisher from CMU. I saw that McCrap ranked him rather high. Would he be an option assuming Milner and Joekel were gone?
You know how people say, after drafting a quality LT, "he will be our LT for the next 10-12 years." Who ever thought that would be Backus?

Killed it at the senior bowl too, people saying he was the best player that week.
then you got guys like Jake Long that are all pros in their first couple years then fizzle with nagging injury concerns. Id rather have the solid guy for 12 years then be stuck overpaying a guy that cant be healthy.

Interesting name to throw out there. Heyward Bey is more than likely going to be released. His speed opposite calvin would be interesting. Completely sucked in OAK sure.....but OAKs passing game has been horrendous and their qb play has not been good. Would be interesting to see if stafford could throw him open down field.
Missed 6 games total, not like he's missing half a seasons each year. If we had Jake Long I'd have constant wood.
for sure...jake long is still jake long. But realistically the dolphins havent seemed like theyre too aggressive in resigning him. The phins havent had that strong of a run game in the last couple years. And if backus and reiff are here are you really going to pay top dollar for a guy that you already have the holes filled when you could use that money to throw at a DE like Kruger? I guess maybe if you got long you could go Long at LT, Reiff at RG and Backus at RT? Not even that line could make up for Raiolas shortcommings lol.
