I get the feeling, if the Tigers thought Infante could play shortstop every day, by now they might have said something about it, and not be in so many trade/FA scenarios for a shortstop.
Infante seems to have above average range at 2B, moving him to short and he might be the same as Jhonny or a tick better. jmo

Just stick with Peralta. We know what we get with Jhonny P. Trading for a SS is always tough and the names going around aren't any better.

Escobar is considered clubhouse cancer, I seemed to recall issues with Bobby Cox, he was considered very lazy as I remember it. That is the last thing any team needs. There is a guy that has a ton of potential but does not give a rats ass.
