I?m sorry but Calvin needs to STFU. He?s done nothing but badmouth the Lions (who deserve it usually) post retirement, but the guy doesn?t say a damn word his whole career and now tries to play Barney badass tough guy with smack talk now that he?s out of the limelight. They don?t owe him a damn thing. Go take your sob story somewhere else.
 
It's the way it works you retire early you return bonus gained. Bonus gets spread out for the life of the contract you don't play you don't get.

it's the only leverage he has to get that money back.
 
Why do you we need him back what does he add? Is going going to get it some wins by showing up at the OTA's?

If he still has a beef with the Lions when/if he gets into the HOF he can probably make them look bad. Heck...he could tell them he won't go in as a Lion...just a member of the NFL ;)

As far as on the field...you are right. He brings nothing.

He’s still only 33 how bout he get back into shape come back for one year part time play and he can have it back
