Lions were down 5 of original front 7 plus three top cbs and a safety with Harris forced to play outside and slot cb lol

But the rookie dts and Penisini and Barnes need to step up and they very much could. Everyone else gone or a backup that was on that field. Barnes and Harris probably should be backups next year unless they improve alot

I have been really impressed with St Brown. He has star potential. The way he runs routes and catches the ball reminds me of a slightly smaller Devante Adams.

I think Wilson and Williams will be long gone by the time the Lions make their 2nd pick. I think I would take Olave with the Rams pick if he's there. I like Burks too but I think he's more of a slot wr...but either would work.

Then add some kind of burner just as a threat, and I think you would have something really good in the passing game...oh, and a QB

I believe that coaching does have some effect on penalties....but I'm not sure false starts is something you can blame on coaching.

Knowing the snap count is literally one of the first things you learn in youth football. These guys have been playing football since they were 6-8 ish. They shouldn't need to be "coached up" on knowing the snap count. It's not as if we're coaching them to "just get it close".

I think we can cover about 5-6 spots this off-season and the next off-season cover the rest. Move towards .500 next season and compete for the playoffs after that.

I don't see how they're headed in the right direction. They won 2 lousy games. They just gave up 50 points. There are more things that say they're going backwards, than forward.
