With just 2 more weeks of spring training, the Detroit Tigers’ 2025 roster still has a lot of question marks. Some of it complicated by injuries to key players like Alex Cobb, Parker Meadows, Wenceel Perez and Matt Vierling.
It appears that the Opening Day roster may be a result of having to perform a “Rubik’s Cube” move of sliding players all around in order to get a fit for each position.

I submit that it's time to be able to trade draft picks and extend the discernment period for draftees to two years rather than one year. Clearly, the high picks are not usually going to reenter the draft.If you're a high draft pick they're not going to want to get redrafted Big bonus. Even in hockey high draft picks won't reenter draft. And baseball is unique in a lot of ways - different dimension parks, no trading picks etc..
