At the end, no matter how cool it was going for it, we lost again. Again to Ohio State.

I said it way earlier in the thread I would go for 2 in this situation. No problem whatsoever with it. It just didn't work.

A big underdog with a chance to tear out your rivals' hearts and stomp on it in front of em. Your defense couldn't stop them worth a damn. What chance would we have had in OT? Who can say really? Hell of a game, one for the classic archives.

This is EXACTLY right!

We DLinemen (with LB help) in this situation would be screaming overload. DT's focus on the RB first (run blitz) and DE watches for sweep or QB run.

If you're going to do this play, there should be a run option with it.

Ah well. I'm so ****ing proud of this UM team.

The O played way over their heads. Wish they had played like that all year. This was an epic game. Proud of this team. I expected Hyde to gash the D all day, and Miller too, so not unexpected. A one point loss. Amazing game. Wish they had gone for the tie to extend the game. So, if you lose in OT it is no more of a loss than if you lose in regulation by one point. But don't get me wrong, I don't feel bad at all about the decision to go for it there. Disappointed they didn't make it. I think it is fair to say Michigan ended ohio*s hopes for an NC bid.

Agreed. the 2pt call was the right call.

And the "fumble" they took away from us after being down was the game breaker. Ohio got 7 from it. We had our drive ended, potential 14 point swing.

Yes that would have been nice. I wanted them to try and score there and also wanted them to go for 2 at the end. If you're going to be aggressive at least be consistent with it Hoke.

FSU has a rapist....he gets charged and OSU will get the nod for the NC game.

Still a lot of college football left. As a fan of big 10 football....I don't really want OSU to go to the NC game.....theyd get smoked imo.

Yea I guess I didn't realize how bad OSUs defense is. We had our way with them for most of the game.

How big would a fg have been when they had the ball on the 14 and turned it over on downs. Ah shit, well the team played well. Hope they can carry this O into the bowl and next season. Young running backs have been looking better and better.

There was a big fuss about this when the schedule was announced. It has something to do with Rutgers and Maryland joining the conference? New division alignment etc. I dunno.
