There has been a lot of negativity about Nick. Granted he has been very inconsistent but he's only played a quarter of the season. Give him a chance. With this team we can afford to put up with some of his rookie mistakes. If it doesn't work out D.D. will work something out. He has a lot of upside to send him down already.

We can afford his mistakes? We have 3 guys right now that are hitting. 3.

Our SP has been getting torched, and our bullpen has been subpar, so how can you say we can afford to put up with it?

He's a rookie and everyone understand that, but he's also been pretty bad, and so he's going to get some criticism, deservedly so.

His improving plate discipline the last week or so has been a good sign at least, hopefully he can start climbing out of this. He has a history of starting slowly every time he moves up a level, so his struggles are not unexpected.

The 3 players who are hitting right now: Miggy, VMart, and half each of Hunter and Kinsler (since theyve been streaky and not walking.)

Mike Trout's first go at it wasn't good, in fact it sucked. Only 135PA but even the best struggle early..

Bullshit!

Wow excellent argument, when you put it that way, so concise and eloquent, I totally see your point of view.

Well you didn't list any data to support your moronic claim. Who are these 3 guys?

Nick needs to be better... I am sure he has a few more at bats to do so... But he needs to start performing better..

I think he's getting close to taking a step in the right direction. He seems to be seeing the ball better lately. Could just be that he needs to catch a few breaks with balls dropping in to spark his confidence. At least that's what I'm hoping. lol
