Republican Elector from Texas voting for John Kasich

I guess but he made his case and it's not like it hasn't happened before . 157 times since the electoral college was put in place. He thinks it his duty to vote against a unfit person he thinks was elected.

I understand and it's not like it matters in the end.. I keep thinking about those TB writers who didn't have JV on their ballot :bat:

Yes in the end in the end it is only symbolic but didnt Hamilton say that it was a Elector duty to vote against a unfit and unqualified candidate. I mean we might as well get the third American Revolution started because this country is so divided.

When was the second American Revolution and who fought who in it?

Also, where were all the posts about electors' duty to vote against a community organizer as unfit and unqualified?

Not to speak for Bob but I think he's talking about the Civil War. If that's the case the combatants were the United States and the Confederacy.

I wasn't a delegate who voted for Barack Obama to the electoral college in either 2008 or 2012; in fact I've never been a delegate to the electoral college ever.

Your welcome to post anything you want Hack.
Yes the civil war can be considered another Revolution as you know Slavery was a big deal back prior to that civil war. And there was a huge divide in the country about it.
Yes Trump is grossly unqualified to be president. Post whatever you want. I just found this article and thought it would create a discussion . Do whatever you want.

Revolution is defined as the overthrow or repudiation of an established government or political system by the people governed while civil war is defined as a war between organized groups within the same state or country, or, less commonly, between two countries created from a formerly united state.

The Civil War was not the second American Revolution.

And Trump is no less qualified to be President than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

37 would have to change their mind and with many states where the electors have to go with the state, it ain't happening. And I heard if it did, the House would then choose.

where did you read that? Is that because it would then be an electoral tie?

Its not even close between Obama, Clinton and Trump but believe what you want to believe we just disagree with each other and so do 2 million plus voters who voted for Clinton over Trump, and contrary to popular notion and theroy some think the American Civil War Was in fact a Revolution of epic proportions.

Goodluck. Hey maybe Trump will side with the little guys and screw Ryan and enact National Health care!!!! If the dude did that in place of Obamacare he would win over, and over, and over again.

Donald Trump peddles populism for the rich.

what's your reaction to him already packing his cabinet with the same corporate lobbyists & bankers that Hillary would have?

how deep in the sand have you buried your head?

or are you just glad there's now a guy in the White House who will pay lip service to "pissed off white men" while his administration continues to fuck them over?
