10-2 Finish

Well, there goes the board. We had fun though, didn't we??

At least he stopped with this stuff!

DT 2-4, MLB,SAM and nickel were all upgraded.
OLBS,DEs and secondary in year 2 of the system.

Ngata is a better run defender than Suh and a good pass rusher still.

These are not ifs.
11-5 and a top 5 defense in 2014. I called 2014. And I'll call 2015. I have never failed.

12-4 with a top 5 offense and top 5 defense. Stafford 100 QB rating.

Top 5 PPG is not far fetched for the offense that is loaded with talent.
Stafford is good and has led a top 5 offense before and played well enough in 2013 and 2014 for a top 5 offense. Calvin and Tate are elite and healthy
We upgraded protection (with draft and health) and run game big time this offseason
Year 2 of the system, plus Lombardi can learn from mistakes
Moore can be solid
Ebron is talented and in year 2.

Everything points to top 5.

possible...but highly unlikely. All three of those teams are better than the Lions.

It's not highly unlikely. It's very likely

GB is playing really well right now but the Lions can get on their level.

Lions have more talent than Arizona and KC.

What, from ANY of this 0-4 pathetic start has given you the hope that the Lions can beat Green Bay? They are the worst team in football right now. The Packers are one of, if not the best. They'll hang 40 on this team and Rodgers will have his crew repaint the end zones with that green color.

The team's a joke. Give it up.

Tulloch is slowed by injury. Bad luck
Pass rush is better. 38% pressure over 36% (2014)
Run D is still top 5
Nickel, Wilson can blitz but is another 1 year deal suck in coverage. Play Lawson or Diggs (though Diggs is rookie toast)
Warford/Waddle/Pettigrew injuries have killed the run game and protection. Reiff had 3 bad games but can play much better. See Week 4.

Lions are much better than their record. Lions have just as much talent as Green Bay. I said they would split with GB anyway. We can beat Rodgers at home.

And I could see a scenario with 10-2 but getting swept by GB. We can win at Rams and at Saints and at KC and at Chicago. Beat Arizona first though

Ah, the old "They are much better than their record" routine. Classic, tried, and true, and complete and total BS.

Not BS at all.

18 point lead on Chargers
hosed by refs in Seattle
Stafford did not fumble truly against Denver. 4th and 1 TD Slay wins that 90% of the time.

More 3-1 than 0-4.

Real football talk. This is so fun. Back to this board being a clown show again.

I might argue the Lions have as much talent as GB minus the 1 MOST IMPORTANT POSITION (QB).

The difference between the rest of the positions between GB and DET might be 'close' but having Rodgers pretty much trumps all that (and by pretty much I mean 10000%)

I see no way Det beats GB this year (home or away) without Rodgers getting hurt...even if the Offense suddenly looks capable, GB will still win.

go back to Jamaica

They are 0-4

You did this before with your "12-2 still the most probable outcome" garbage. I tried to tell you that you don't understand how very unlikely that truly is, but you decided to hang on to your trolling premise and dismiss logic. You are lying when you say you're trying to have real football debates. TomDalton posted just some examples of how ridiculous you sound so clearly you don't know a "shit ton" about the Lions.

There are plenty of ways to have real conversation without acting like a goofball all the time. Why don't you try it for once? Everybody knows you're just playing around at this point.

No, this board now sucks again. It was great for a week and a half, seriously. Read the threads before this shit got started. Good conversations were had for the most part.

I was right on the Lions run D and pressure. Both are very good.
Right on Ebron

Injuries to Oline and Pettigrew ruined run game and protection. Reiff will clearly play back to his potential.

10-2 is the most likely situation.

Warford and Levy back will do wonders. But Ngata must play too.

The jury is out on the run D. They are giving up 111.5 yards per game which is 17th in the NFL
