Penn State opens as an 8 point favorite

Michigan under Coach Harbaugh is 0-6 as underdogs. It's not a good record. Most teams lose an underdogs. It is remarkable that in 5.5 years under Harbaugh, Michigan has only been an underdog 6 times, plus this one coming up.

There were a couple passes on Saturday vs Illinois that Patterson would not get away with against PSU and if the team can't hold on to the damn football, forget about winning in Happy Valley.

Of course nobody was calling for Franklin's head when his team got thumped in Ann Arbor but then again they're only Penn State and Paul Finebaum doesn't seem to have the same hard on for him.

If we upset Penn State Saturday, watch people say that Penn State was just not very good, it wasn't a big game, and we should have been playing football at that level all season.

And if you argue with anyone who says that, they'll say it means you're okay with losing...

Nope, instead a certain section of the fan base wishes we had James Franklin at Michigan...

I think Michigan will be the best team that Penn State has played so far this season.

Also, I'm going to go on the record now, and call the upset: we're going to beat Penn State on Saturday.

Well, Penn State should win, right? I mean, they are favored and the favored team should win.

Or should Michigan win, because they're Michigan?

Michigan should always be favored and always win, but that doesn't happen because Harbaugh doesn't let Josh Gattis call bombs to Nico Collins or Tarik Black every single play.

by 3 td's or more...OR Peoples-Jones, all 3 of which are first round talent...

I fully expect and predict that Penn State will win. I really want Michigan to win. I certainly won't be happy about a Penn State win or be reveling in it.

That being said, Sean Clifford is not Trace McSorley and Noah Cain is not Saquon Barkley. I doubt we see a repeat of the 42-13 game from 2 years ago. I expect a close game into the 4th quarter.

IF the team doesn't falter in the 3rd qtr, AND IF they do not turn the ball over, Michigan can win this game. They are gonna have to play the full game with no let ups. High level and high intensity. GO BLUE!

In AA, I think UM has a good chance. PSU at night...that's a tall order. I think PSU wins pretty easily.

Gonna take a great team effort but if they play with confidence and get off to a good start it will be competitive absolutely. Worried about special teams mistakes in this one honestly.

If the three NFL-caliber WRs fight over single-digit targets and receptions, like they did last week, just install the wishbone offense and be done with it.

Ronnie Bell leads the team in receptions with 20. The D1 NCAA leader has more than 50. A Michigan State WR.

Michigan can win this one easily, without a doubt.

All that is needed for that to happen is for Penn State play the worst game it possibly can.
