The Saturday Survey offers the opportunity to weigh in on a relevant topic.

So far this off-season, the Detroit Tigers have signed to major league contracts:
Akil Baddoo (Rule 5 draft)
Robbie Grossman
Jonathan Schoop
Jose Urena
Wilson Ramos
Nomar Mazara
They have also added these minor league contracts, with invitations to spring training:
Greg Garcia
Dustin Garneau
Ian Krol
Renato Nunez
(and others)
The Tigers were one of MLB?s most active teams this off-season. It?s a year in which other organizations are slashing payrolls and making minimal changes to their rosters due to historic revenue losses, the uncertainty of having fans in the stands for 2021 and other pandemic-related factors.
Detroit is not expected to have a much better year with another last place finish in their division and 95 losses projected by PECOTA. Most analysts believe it will be another 2-3 years before they reach .500. They have a number of highly-regarded prospects in their farm system with expected MLB arrivals in
1-3 years. However, they still have a number of holes to fill in the meantime.
Given all of these factors, how would you grade the team?s moves so far?
1. Pretty good, considering
2. Better than I thought
3. Average
4. Eh
5. Disappointing
