2020 Dem candidate

I would agree. And a savvier Biden would have asked her" "Say, Sarah ? That's a clever phrase. Where does that come from? Or did you just invent it?"

He should've asked her if she's ever seen a grown man naked.

$5 says she would've answered the question.

I am kinda surprised the "Biden Bus" is still rolling at this point, considering the widely publicized stories of how much of a creeper he's been to women.

AND to a lesser extent (in terms of the amount of press it's gotten) how he sandbagged Anita Hill and prevented other women from testifying against Clarence Thomas, how he lead opposition to student busing in the 70's, said nice things about openly racist senators he served with, and also lead the charge on behalf of creditors to ensure student loans were virtually non-dischargeable in bankruptcy, openly campaigned for Republicans, and browbeat the Ukrainian government into dropping corruption charges against his son and bragged about it to his Republican buddies.

Two parties that agree on everything but abortion.

One party, with a difference of opinion on this topic.

I've read some commentary that the way corporate democrats have each taken turns declaring is part of a strategy by the DNC to deal with Bernie, who they're scared to death of.

He's been the front runner since day one, AND has more money than anyone else, and so they keep throwing guys out there to attack him and sabotage his campaign.

Unlike 2016 though, he's built his own fundraising apparatus and bigger national volunteer staff, so he's completely independent of them.

They may have to wait until the convention to sabotage him.

Biden also seems genuinely confused that people are questioning his bona fides as a "working class hero." But alternative media is out in front of a lot of this stuff now; the carefully crafted narratives CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN (and the more meathead narratives fed to Fox News demographic, and Breitbart/Infowars for the real loonies) aren't controlling the story for everyone like they used to.

You can't fool ALL the people ALL the time, right? I still don't know how many people have woken up though.

The Boomers in my family still seem to genuinely trust the "nice men and nice ladies" that tell them their news stories every night, and their eyes glaze over and they get confused whenever I mention something that conflicts with that... and there are still too many Boomers around.

Keep throwing out these bums might as well a 4 years to Trump.

I heard the virtue signalers committed to having a female VP on Joe's Ticket, I'm thinking he'll choose Hillary or Michelle.

It was predicted two years ago it would be Joe Bama 2020

Picking Hillary Clinton would be insane.

Bill Clinton was a many times elected slick and charming scalawag; Hillary is a two-time loser. Choosing Hillary Clinton would be as crazy a choice for him as picking Sarah Palin.

Why would he not pick Kamala Harris over at Michelle Obama, as Harris has actually been elected to three different public offices as opposed to Michelle Obama, who has never been elected ever?

When has Joe ever not been a gaffe machine though and said and done stupid things. he'll offer it to Michelle if she turns it down then yea maybe Harris would be next in line for the offer but then again these old school dems like to stick together he'll probably consider Warren first before Harris.

Biden will lose the Dem. nomination on abortion. IMO. He's not on board with the abortion-on-demand-no-apologies flavor of the Democratic Party. He's the quintessential coward on this issue, and that will, in his own words, "please nobody."

The only reason HC would accept is because she'd be counting on Joe not making it out of his initial term. And Hill would never accept that role in government, anyway. It's too inert for her. She'd never ascede to the terms of that office.

When it comes to general elections, Joe Biden has never said or done anything stupid enough to lose one.

If he actually finally wins the Democratic nomination, he?s very unlikely to fuck it up with a profoundly stupid choice in a running mate.

It would be crazy to pick Warren over Harris; Warren is too much like Biden-old, white and East Coast.

Harris would be the natural choice for the diversity optics.

Maybe.

I am not so sure that rank and file Democrats are going to have “abortion on demand” as a high on their list of priorities.

I tried to find where it would rank in the minds of Democrats in general, but I couldn’t find any data.

What I’m hearing is first and last, the number one priority for Democrats is beating Trump, and if it appears that nominating Biden will give the Democrats the best advantage for that, I would say main stream voters in Democratic primaries will definitely give Bladen points for that.

I’m going to go ahead and make a supposition here that I think is probably generally accurate but may not entirely be-that the abortion on demand wing of the Democratic Party is probably reasonably aligned with the seven Justice Democrats that were elected to the House of Representatives in 2018, most notably Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Talib, and Ilhan Omar-In all probability, Nancy Pelosi was referring to them here:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ts2q1T4d1RA

So in the eyes of the speaker, the far left does not dominate the Democratic Party and probably doesn’t reflect the views of rank and file Democrats.

So we’ll see.

There isn't much upside for a Harris Choice though as Nancy might say you could stick a D on a cup and it would win CA. If he's smart he'd choose someone from a rust belt state to help take back a key state that trump won in 16.

no, you can't but apparently there are enough people who can be fooled all the time to make Sanders the frontrunner for the Dem nomination.

I wouldn't pick her either, but for different reasons. Hillary is so desperate to be President and now has to know she can't win an election. Her best shot would be to get on the ticket as VP and have the guy who made it look like Vince Foster killed himself slip antifreeze into Joe's drinks after the inauguration.

as far as michelle goes, her husband proved you don't have to have accomplished anything to become a darling of the Democrat Party.
