2020 Dem candidate

Spanish people cannot cast votes in US elections, I'm surprised you didn't already know that being the paragon of information around here with all those links to infowars and coast to coast, etc.

I think Ricky Ricardo was a naturalized US citizen.

So he could have voted for Beto O?Rourke,
except for the fact that he lived in New York.

See that there? I wrote a little poem.

Not actually a poem, but an iambic pentameter (almost anyway) couplet, at least.

Military hero in Tulsa Gabbard of Hawai’i has thrown her bone dome into the ring also.

It would be nice for us to write like that.
Compose and think before we click and post.
No need to rhyme, but write so that the words
are read with punch, like Bo had spit them out.

Clearly the key is to tap into the dumbest, most racist and naive aspect of America. Make stupid, unrealistic promises and repeat them ad nauseum. When confronted with facts to the contrary, deny facts and science and cater to the stupidity of those you are lying to in the beginning.

You guys have no clue. The "Clinton wing" AKA "all of Establishment DC" is looking to get behind anyone who "plays ball" in the "Two Parties That Agree on Everything But Abortion" game.

Biden, O'Rourke, Harris, Booker all play this game. None of them are "leftist." They play Leftists on TV though, and clueless shitheads believe them.

I think to these people (centrist DC) Warren is more palatable than Sanders.

One name that just started popping up is Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown... from the little I know about him, I like him. I don't know if he's genuine or not. He could be an interesting option.

Are they anything like the clueless shitheads who post things like "the two parties that agree on everything except abortion" when we're in the middle of the longest shutdown in US history and it's not over abortion?

Also, to help clue-in the clueless, nobody thinks Biden is a leftist. Everyone knows he's the quintessential establishment D. Same with Harris and Booker, although they play the identity politics game a bit more aggressively. Also, their pandering to the left seems a bit more like ambitious opportunism than Biden's and we all know how leftists despise ambition. O'Rourke is clearly a leftist. Perhaps hardcore leftists reject him because he actually had a real job in the private sector at one point - again, maybe it gets back to that ambition thing. If he wanted to appeal to leftists, he should have gotten kicked out of a hippie commune for being too lazy, then moved his first wife into a shack w/ a dirt floor because he didn't have a job until he was 40.

By the way, the term "leftist" is a derogatory term used in place of the term "liberal" because "leftists" don't stand for anything remotely close to what classical "liberalism" is about.

Clueless.

No love for the iambic pentameter. Maybe this is more of a limerick crowd.

At least she had the balls to stand with Bernie against Hilary unlike that gutless turd Warren. I'll pay attention to her for that alone.

With the dumping of the superdelagates, does that mean establishment dems have really lost some of their control or was that more of a PR stunt? (that won't hit home, because I bet few people will be thinking of it by the time the next election hits.)

She also had the balls to call out other Dems like Feinstein and the Senator from Hawaii for their religious bigotry during judicial confirmation hearings.

Here is an op-ed Rep. Gabbard wrote for the Hill.

I have personally become very disappointed in my Senator Dianne Feinstein, whom I had long considered to be a moderate and fair consensus builder working across the aisle on important issues.

I voted for her very liberal opponent in the California general election, as a protest.

she had to resign from the DNC because of that.

she's solid. yeah, I like her better than Warren too.

538 was tracking endorsements from other politicians and it's crazy how few democratic senators backed Bernie.

Jeff Merkley of Oregon is one I remember. I think he might've actually been the only one.

Good.

I'm pretty sure I posted this before; it's shockingly awful from Feinstein earlier in her career. Of course, it wasn't about racism and slavery, but San Francisco's well known Confederate heritage...

Wow.

It seems that everyone respects Tulsi Gabbard.

Hey, she has already put her life on the line for our country on numerous occasions, who the fuck in Washington should she be afraid of?

Add Kirsten Gillibrand to the list. Hillary's NY seat. Kind of similar hair. Probably not fair to assume she's the sequel, but maybe she's the sequel.

Looks like cnn pundits are already attacking Gabbard. I like her already, if cnn doesn’t like her she must be doing something right
