2020 Dem candidate

Wasn't Clinton quoted as saying something like "when I was president, he would be serving us coffee" to a friend in reference to Obama.

Nothing wrong with being racist unless you are an easily triggered SJW.

Champ is the only racist easily triggered SJW here. I'm pretty sure he's the only racist who posts here, period but as you say it's especially bad since he's also an easily triggered SJW.

Yes, I find racism abhorrent, and I believe in social justice for all people. Guilty as charged.

If you believe in justice for all people, like I do, then you can't be a social justice warrior. Justice needs no modifiers and social justice is inherently discriminatory.

But the odd thing is, not only are you a social justice warrior, you're also a racist who uses despicable bigoted language regularly here. Then you often accuse others of being racist for disagreeing with you.

I mean, his center-right, Wall Street friendly legacy sucked, and that's why Bernie is where he is & the candidates are all moving to the Left... but DO YOU forget the shitshow the 2016 Republican Primary and debates were?

Like... hardly nuanced policy discussions and intelligent debate. Remember? Trump bragged about how big his hog is, and Chris Christie broke the Rubio Bot by asking him a question off script. Everyone else repeated how we need to cut taxes & rebuild the military over and over.

do you remember the 2020 debates so far? Free stuff for everyone! talk about nuance - that's some next level shit right there. The only difference is moderators won't take these debates into the sewers like they did with the Republicans, they'll just let these clowns talk about their nonsensical policies and pretend like they're "big" or "new" ideas.

so we agree? what's your point?

George Wallace was a racist. Robert Byrd as well. Jefferson Davis. They actually believed that black people were inferior to whites based on genetics.

Yes. southern elite - regardless of what political party they found it expedient to belong to at the time- had to find some way to reconcile keeping human beings as slaves, and later denying them the right to vote, and maintaining segregation that also somehow squared with our Constitution, and their claimed Christian beliefs.

West Virginia is kind of on the fence as far as being "Southern" goes. If the nastiness of coal mining strikes and battles with Pinkertons are any indication, there's Not a lot of difference though, in terms of personal morals between Coal Barons in West Va, and Cotton Planters in MS or AL.
