3rd option would be to get a high pick for next year's draft and hopefuly double dip next year and have a chance at a franchise player.

yes, ideally the Pistons trade with the Celtics and trade the last 1st rounder this year for a first in 2021. Given that the pick is #30 it is a good gamble that it will be higher next year.
