I have to say atleast Quin knows where the needs are this year. OLB, DT, backup QB and oline partially addressed and were not even to the draft yet. Draft should be able to add some nice complimentary pieces and our recent FA signings have definitely changed our needs slightly going into the draft.

Having a decent OLB could mean CB becomes a bigger target with our first pick. Guys like Simmons in rd 1 and Baun in rd 2 would still provide a TON of value...but CB is still a glaring hole opposite Slay.

If the fat dude is your starting RT and your plan is to move Crosby to RG...then poof...your not necessarily mocking a rd 2 or rd 3 Guard to us anymore.

I see Nick Williams as depth on the dline so i do still think starting DT calibur should be a target in the draft. As high as rd 2 with a potential Ross Blacklock pick.

Keep plugging holes in FA and we may get to a point where Quin can actually select BPA in the draft. Aka draft a bunch of TEs!
 
If they could figure out a way to get Logan Ryan and say a Dante Fowler....id be ecstatic with this FA.
 
The Lions have released QB Kyle Sloter and S A.J. Howard. Detroit signed Sloter and Howard toward the end of last season. Neither one played a down for the club. Sloter's release comes the same day the club agreed to terms with Chase Daniel.
