2023 NFL Draft Weekend Thread

All I know is that Ben Johnson must be salivating right now. Anything worse than a top 3 offense would be a disappointment coming out of this draft.

Grandy I nominate Tracy walker as your next picture.

Id say swift but that's like a given and I don't want you to have to change your profile pick again after 1 day.

LB doesn't bother me as much its the RB. A non starter at 12..

A non starter at RB, but he's going to be used heavily as a WR when he's not in the backfield. With Williams out 6 games, that's huge. I also wish we would have waited until 18, but it's whatever.

You lay it in I'm going to smack it. You know I'm right. Pettigrew, Ebron, Hock and now this guy. No one drafts 4 top draft picks at TE.

I honestly don't think you've been right about anything you've said the last 2 days. This pick has nothing to do with those other tight ends. Nobody making that pick was here for any of the others. Let it go

I don't think we needed a TE and definitely never thought we needed an edge guy. Paschal played well when he came back from injury and Houston had a lot of success. Still have okwara and cominsky, too. Really confused why anyone wants an edge here that probably isnt even as good as what we have.

Hard for me to say this but I rather have Hock.

LaPorta is waaaaayyyyy more athletic than hockenson. Hockenson was picked high cause he was supposed to be this all purpose guy that could do it all. That translated into running slow routes l...ok hands....and sucked at blocking.

You'd rather have LaPorta in this offense...trust me.

Swift a fa next year or traded now
Wright and zystra a fa next year. La porta upgrade anyway
Lb just needed an upgrade even if i like rodriguez, small

Two more picks. Guard and cb and nt in play.

Oh my god yes. Hockensons appeal was a good 2 way TE. I think he provided that while in Detroit. But he was picked way too high.

LaPorta is basically a big WR. He fits this scheme better.

We do have to go D soon.

So he's catching balls, RB is catching balls, with James gets back he's catching balls. Of course Montgomery is catching balls. Just not enough to go around. But our 32nd defense is now 30th. I don't get it.

Lions defense was good final 10. Added 3 cbs, good dline and added a good linebacker, walker is an addition
