I heard a bunch of teams were looking at ARod - did Harris negotiate with anyone else?
The only thing that can somewhat salvage this is if he opts into the remainder of his contract tomorrow, which will never happen

Get StartedI heard a bunch of teams were looking at ARod - did Harris negotiate with anyone else?
And then trade him in the off-season..The only thing that can somewhat salvage this is if he opts into the remainder of his contract tomorrow, which will never happen
That part wasn't dumb figuring most give their okay. But Harris should have asked him, YESTERDAY.Harris just didn?t understand the assignment at all. I can?t believe he tried to trade him to a team he had a no trade contract with. Just makes zero sense. Just beyond dumb. Same stuff this stupid organization does over and over again.
Tigers president Scott Harris said Eduardo Rodriguez was exercising his contractual rights to reject a trade and "shouldn't be the villain in any of this."
Said he's glad he'll be pitching for the Tigers every five days in the final months of the season.
Scott Harris explains the decision to keep Eduardo Rodriguez in Detroit, after he invoked his 10-team no-trade clause that included the Los Angeles Dodgers.
