I'm not, I was going to vote for Vivek but will now vote for DeSantis. I will of course vote for Trump in the general if he is the nominee. I won't vote for Nikki Haley under any circumstances - or Joe Biden for that matter because as bad a person as Trump may be, Biden is far worse.

1. Trump sat there for over 3 hours watching his people attack the Capitol, ignoring pleas to release a statement. Those are confirmed facts.

and? he had already told them all to protest peacefully. Nancy Pelosi was told to beef up security days before and elected not to do so. pinning the mostly peaceful insurrection on Trump based on the timestamp of his tweet is dumb.

2. Biden had a few old briefing packets that were found in boxes of documents. They were immediately returned and we learned a couple months ago that he isn't going to be charged, just as Pence wasn't. Those are facts.

Biden had boxes and boxes of documents at multiple locations and they weren't immediately returned - first, they were from 2016 and prior and they were found at different times and at new locations over a period of days or even weeks.

And Biden was VP, not President he had no business nor any protection under the Presidential Records Act.

Well first of all, the borders aren't "wide open" so please stop with the Fox News hyperbole. I'll let you look up the numbers but there have been a record number of immigrants deported or returned to Mexico. What we are seeing now is a result of Title 42 ending and people making the trip to the border to claim asylum as is their right under US and international law.

Oh and by the way, I've spent a couple of stints living in Texas so I probably know a little more about the reality of the situation than your average Michigander.
