3 New Hires by Quinn

Right now, they have a 6-10 AM show with Balligan, Mark, and Maz. Maz is the ultimate sunshine guy, but I enjoy the chemistry they have.

10-2 is Ryan and Rico. Errmani is a giant slap, but they are both pretty darn entertaining.

And the 2-6 show is Dery and Sharp, huge fan of Dery simply because of all the Seinfeld drops.

Overall, I'm just glad there's something else to listen to. 97.1 puts all their eggs in the Valenti basket. When he's gone, Foster can't carry a show by himself. And Gator by himself is absolutely horrid.

Doug Karsch and Jamie Samuelson are my two favorites on 97.1, they carry their time slots imo. I have to really be in the mood for Valenti and Foster but I don't hate them like most.

Yeah, Karsch and Jamie are solid. The rest of their lineup is just very meh. The morning show is pretty bad.

ya the morning show is brutal...I never listen to Stoney and Bill, cant stand either of them.

I probably like Jamie and Wojo the best to be honest. Valenti and Foster has its moments, but they go off on rants/tangents too much nowadays, and seem to be unnecessarily negative at times. I dont want sunshine blown up my ass, but I also dont want to listen to someone bitch about the state of MI/Detroit/Lions/all my other favorite sports teams 24/7 either...I'd like a middle ground.

105.1 has been upping their 'game' a lot recently. I enjoy the Sean/Mark/Maz show quite a bit, and would listen to them in the afternoons over Karsh/Anderson. Now that hey switched to mornings, I still listen to them some, but usually its Dave and Chuck the Freak on my drive into work.

Sharp is unbearable...I cant stand the guy, and I cant stand listening to him. Derry is alright, but even if I thought he was amazing, being partnered with Sharp would keep me from listening to them...

When Valenti starts going on about Michigan, I just turn the station. It's not even worth my time.

And yeah, Sharp is tough. I really liked Dery on his own to be honest, he's one of the few guys in the radio business that can carry a show by himself.
