3rd Preseason game

Okc at Detroit

Piston led 57-54 at half which I missed .Turned on the start of the third and the Pistons have had 5 turnovers it seems in 2 minutes. So sloppy no crowd.

Just a garbage effort to start the third. Trail now by 11. Something is missing. Sometimes I feel coach is to easy on these guys. Starters are playing like shit for the Pistons. Bagley Iii left hurt after a minute.

Marvin Bagley apparently with a pretty bad knee injury one minute into the game. Non contact and couldn't put any weight on it. Probably an ACL

This team is not very good. Looks like another high draft pick. No one plays any defense for the pistons tonight. I did miss the first maybe they played some then.

I?m just not impressed with the Pistons right now. . Cade 0-5 from three Ivey 0-3 and Bey 1-4. Bench has most of the threes. I guess it?s preseason.

Detroit Pistons are a turnover Machine. Just got crushed by a bad okc team at home. I?m just not impressed with the Pistons so far in the preseason.
Pistons lose 115-99 . Now 0-3 in the preseason.

When he first got here he said that was a priority. I never understood it either. Last year in attempts they were 16th but last 3 seasons top 10. Its fine if they can shoot. Changing of the game I guess.. though we were 29th in % in 2021-22.

Well, the poor shooting is more of a talent issue than anything else so it probably won?t be any better in the regular season.

That said, I don?t think this team would be better off shooting less 3s. The roster simply lacks good shooters and there?s really no way to coach around that in today?s NBA.

They could try to score in the paint. I know that's a loss cause in today's NBA but I can hope.

There are a lot of teams that shoot fewer threes than the Pistons. Hell, the Bulls take the fewest 3's in the league and were 13th in the league scoring 111.6 points a game. Memphis takes fewer 3's a game and was second in the league scoring 115.6 points per game.

The Pistons were second to last in 3P% at 32.6%, 16th in the league chucking up 34.6 and 3rd to last in scoring with 104.8 PPG
