5 lions caught the ball today

Broyles is being limited from injury. He is good. It's like you people don't follow lions news at all

Are you getting sick of the injurt thing. Who gives a fk, if he doesn't play it's a bad draft pick. Btw, it was a healthy scratch.

They are limiting him so he can heal. He is better than Edwards and Durham but they have to be cautious

Cant handle much more of Durham seeing alot of playing time. Guy is trash, dont care about his size. He came in for Edwards in the 1st quarter and didnt catch a single pass.

Thanks Nate for running a 2 yard route when we needed 4 yards for a first down..

don't forget to thank Stafford for throwing the ball to the only WR that ran a route that was in front of the first down marker!

Stafford didn't have much help but he didn't get the job done. We had the ball with a chance to win and did nothing. Contrast that with Cutler (or even EJ Manuel) who drove their teams to last minute wins. I can't remember Stafford winning us a game in the last possession since the Cleveland game he hurt his shoulder, correct me if I'm wrong.

Rams last year opening day and I'm sure they may have been one after that somewhere also. It's wasn't the norm to see the offense completely tank like that on the final drive. I will never understand why you call a play that doesn't at least aim to throw beyond the first down marker in that situation. I want to think it's linehan that dialed that up isn't it? idk either way..it's painfully obvious now that this offense is completely lost without a scat back.

Playoffs >>> lost scat back >>> 4 wins >>> good offense opening day >>>> first half wasn't atrocious >>> knee injury to scat back >>> offense turns to absolute shit...

not good

Rams game for sure, forgot about that. Play calling and drops don't help Staff one bit.

Route wasn't designed that way. Watch the play again. He got pushed back pretty good at the line by Mathieu.

Two things about that.....

1. Nate needs to win that battle in that situation. The play was designed that way for a reason. You put NB outside to keep him out of traffic (LB's, creeping S's). That worked. He just didn't win the battle. By the time he got away from the press the ball was coming out.

2. Bad patience by Stafford. Right read, though. You take NB against Honey Badger all day. Problem was, once Burleson got shoved back, Stafford needed to wait just a second longer to throw that ball. Burleson would have been past the first down marker if Staff had waited.

People blaming Linehan in that situation are insane. Not one route was designed to be short of 1st down. Just a good play my TM. Shouldn't have gotten into a 4th down situation to begin with.

Just to name a few......so.....um......you're corrected.

Stafford is a legit qb and anyone bitching about his play yesterday needs to go back rewatch and learn the game. He was accurate but his players let him down. Once Bush left no one else made big plays. CJ was the offense yesterday and the defense just locked onto him after Bush. Pettigrew cant catch, Bell had to many drops and Durham is never open. Edwards got hurt not that it mattered and Burleson played well just didnt pull away from Mathieu at the end. If he does its a different story. I didnt like the play call but it had nothing to do with Burleson or Stafford all on Linehan. They got away from the screen game where they are most effective and they should have used the other TE's more. The offense lost rhythm and Linehan failed to fix it. Thats on him not putting players in a spot to win.
