5 lions caught the ball today

You know what, we can't win games without Best and now we're screwed without Bush? Same old excuses..so having a scat back is the only way this team wins?

Regardless, for us to be good we need to win games that are winnable and the Cardinals were that..Up 21-13 and the offense just died.

Offense died the second CJ caught his 2nd TD....when it was 14-13. Levy's INT TD wasn't on the O.

Need to figure something out, quick. It's not just missing a scat back....it's missing weapon #2 in the offense. Bush was it. Nobody else is. That is a MAJOR concern right now. Mayhew better do his job and get another legit weapon NOW. Not a Mike Thomas type.....and if it means giving up a high pick next year, so be it. Cecil Shorts comes to mind. Jax is a lost cause.....they might be willing for the right price. Unfortunately, at this point, MM is going to have to overpay to get someone who would actually help, whoever it is.

What's the backup plan if Best goes down? ahhhh, ahhhhh, blink blink what? ahhh yea we made a mistake there in not having a plan B

What's the backup plan if Bush does down? ahhhh, ahhhh, blank blink what? tell ourselves thunder and fill in for lighting, yeah yeah that'll work.

I don't understand why if Bush goes down we have to throw 2 yd passes the rest of the game. We made it way to easy for their defense.

Why would any team give up a "legit weapon" even they are bad?

Whole heartily agree. That's the big point..

"We sign Bush and we's gunsta win" -- Mayhew..

I'm just getting sick of high draft picks not playing..

Upcoming free agency.....not a fit in current system....looking to give a younger player at that position a chance.....they need a player at a different position more.

Lot of reasons.

Doesn't happen in the NFL much......but it can happen.

I can't remember the last time a "legit weapon" was traded during the NFL season. If you are a starting caliber WR you don't get traded during the season

Dude was traded for a first and third.

Sounds legit to me.

no....the Lions raped the Cowboys. He sucked! He started the year with the Lions and in 5 games he had 17 catches and 1 TD. The remaining 11 games with dallas he had 19 catches and another TD.

The following 3 years:
38 for 596, 7 TD
37 for 530, 5 TD
37 for 507, 2 TD

That is the type of player other teams will be willing to give up in a trade. Their Garbage!

Just because it didn't work out doesn't mean it wasn't a big trade. You asked, I answered. Mid season trades DO happen......just not often in the NFL.

Kenny Britt for a 6th?

He would fit right in with the Lions!

From ESPN article:

He was benched for part of Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Houston Texans because "coaches were tired of his mistakes and lackadaisical approach to blocking," Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reported Tuesday.

Britt played 62 of a possible 72 snaps against the Texans, hauling in four catches for 28 yards. But Wyatt contends the Titans remain frustrated with the receiver's shoddy route-running and three penalties in two games. Coach Mike Munchak said Monday that Britt's past knee issues aren't to blame.

"That's two weeks in a row he's had a holding call, so it was more to refocus him," Munchak said of the benching. "It cost us a 10-yard penalty on a 10-yard gain, and we can't have that."

this is perfectly painted picture of how other teams hold their players accountable for even the smallest things...like HOLDING! Our fucking idiot of a coach lets titus line up wrong on purpose, start fights, defensive offsides numerous times a game, DBs play with the backs to the ball the entire game cut blocks 15 yards behind a play, illegal hands to the face to negate a sack/fumble....I could go on and on and on and on....and yet he keeps these retards on the field.
