I would say that there are recruits who aren't attention-whores, who are simply thrown into the insanity of The Game and who feel their privacy is being violated by those trying to find out where they are going to college and why and who keep asking.

Not recruits who go on to Twitter to mess with people or simply draw attention to themselves. Just like any group, you have those in the minority making all the noise and the silent majority of kids from families who want to make the right choice being badgered like never before by douche bags who have no life, yet do have a blog.

TinselWolverine]Maybe the recruits are feeling like they're being stalked when they're being followed on twitter.

That's the part of it I want to know - how much of it is them allowing the stalking? I know on my FB I can make it so I can't even be found so if they don't want the attention there is ways to make sure that it stays to a minimum.

You do realize the post you responded to was intentionally just stupid, right?

Danny Diggler]I'm with m&b09. There should be an early signing period.

Agreed. Why do we have basketball recruits already signed for next year, but football has to wait until seven months prior to the season (other than early enrollees of course).
