8-2 with 2 games left.

Not at all. Offense isn't as good as I expected. Defense is MUUUUUCH better than I expected. 8-2 better than I expected as well.

Still on target for the 8-4 season some predicted. Obviously, I hope those people are wrong.

Offense needs to play better the next 2 games, but all in all I'm pretty happy with this season. GO BLUE!!

The w's and L's have come as expected. A W in the next 2 will throw off those preseason predictions

Let's go blue!!

I am very happy despite the offensive struggles in the red zone.

Should be 9-1, but i'll take 8-2. Oh and by the way, this was thee most fucked up refereed game i've ever seen. That was the worst crew I think i've ever seen. I don't think they called one hold on the Illinois offense the whole game. They held the whole game. Not to mention every call was wrong and overturned. And the dude crossed the line of scrimmage on 4th and 26. Holy shit!!!

That 4 and 26 pass was good. His whole body has to cross the LOS and that clearly did not happen. But the non-hold calls were baffling.

No, his foot has to and it did. Especially during the actual release of the ball from his hand. His whole body was almost over the line. It atleast should have been reviewed. It was close, but my eyes say he was totally over upon release.

I was one of them and I hope I'm wrong!

So was I and I also am hoping I was wrong. I am hoping for a 10-2 season. Wins over both Nebraska and OSU in the Big House would be sweet. But if I can only have one, I'll take a win over OSU.

GO BLUE!

It was reviewed. Your bolded statement makes the point. The entire body has to be over the line. It was not.

It was never reviewed. You are right, though, apparently there was a rule change in 2009 about the body being inthe neutral zone. It used to be just one foot.

just imagine...win one of the next two and then win the bowl game. 10 wins and a big bowl win.....that'd be quite an accomplishment considering Brady is playing with a lot of guys that he probably wouldn't have recruited.

I could of swore to god all they did was show a replay. They sure as hell got off to the next play pretty fast. Oh well, there were still multiple holds and god awful officiating.

they were discussing it on air, one of them said that it won't be overturned. Then the ref came on and said "The ruling on the field is confirmed. It is a catch." Not sure why they said it like that, but i'm sure that confused some people that weren't paying attention.
